To improve functionality and ease of use, HunterLab has made some small improvements in the design of our classic sample cup.
FAQ: “My customer has a ColorFlex 45:0 LAV and needs to measure a very small amount of sample in a cup. Do we have a sample cup for small quantities?”
The retroviewer feature on the UltraScan PRO and UltraScan VIS allows direct viewing of the sample at the port through the same lens used to make color measurements. This feature is also on some LabScan XE and ColorQuest XE models. This feature is particularly useful for aligning the sample if it barely covers the viewing port of the instrument.
A flow through cell can be a handy solution for continuous sampling and ease of measurement with a transparent, liquid product.
FAQ: “The black plate was accidentally stained with a oil-like substance. The oil can’t be removed by using clean wipe. Can you advise how can we remove the stain? Can we wash it with detergent?”
The 4 mm Port Plate (A02-1010-838 ) masks down the 6 mm viewed sample area in Small Area of View (SAV) to a 4 mm diameter aperture. It is intended to be used only when the sample is smaller than the 9.5 mm diameter of the normal SAV port.
